Only required events are underlined and bolded. They are May 17th (alternate available by request), June 13-20, and August 17 (strongly recommended). 5-Day Clubs are available June 23-Aug 1 detailed below.
Youth that sign up for CYIA commit to teaching at three 5-Day Clubs which are organized to have three per day, like this:
If there is a particular club that you need to do, please let Mariah or Sarah know ASAP. 5-Day Club teams are built on a first-come-first-serve basis. If you are flexible, let us know which weeks. This helps us put together strong teams.
FAQ
Do I need to attend the full week of CYIA camp?
Yes. Unless you have specific permission from Mariah (granted under extreme circumstances), you are required to attend all parts of CYIA camp.
Do I have to shower during CYIA?
Yes. Yes. Yes. It is a requirement and this year we are excited to have showers on campus!
Is there a talent show and how can I participate?
This year, our “talent show” has been moved to December. However, if you have an uplifting special that you would like to share with the CYIA group, contact Mariah to discuss if it would fit into one of the CYIA evening fellowship times.
Father’s Day is the Sunday during CYIA camp, can I call my dad?
No, you cannot call your dad, but he could join you for dinner! On Sunday, your family is invited to do dinner (5pm) and the following Demo time (5:30pm). We ask $10 per family member who eats the prepared dinner, up to $50 a family. You are also welcome to bring your own food if desired. Please be sure to RSVP by June 14th if you plan to join us.
- The full registration fee is due on June 14, but you are welcome to send it in early. We will be sending out an email the first week of June with your final balance (after office hours are gone, popcan drive finished, and AWANA money is in).
- If you want a CYIA pull-over hoodie, they are $20, CYIA zip-up hoodies are $30, CYIA beanies are $10. Also, if you are a returning student who needs new T-shirts, I need to know this so I can be sure we have some for you.
- (After May 18th) If you have not done Pre-Training yet, please get that done and let me know. Levels blue and one will be sharing a Wordless Book practicum in their interview, and Levels 2-5 will need to do their level’s quiz and practicum(s). Level Blue and One class videos, Level 2, Level 3. I have these students listed as doing alternate Pre-Training:

- If you know of anyone who would like to help in the kitchen, drive, or otherwise help with putting CYIA on, please refer them to me because I would love to talk to them.
- If you know of kids who would like to attend 5-Day Club during CYIA week (June 16-20), please let me know. I am putting together a list and plan.
